They 're looking for people who enjoy learning on the job as they work to create a more sustainable future and help ignite change in the bitcoin mining industry. ***May be required to work in Sandersville, GA facility.***Job Overview:The Mining Operations Tech is an essential part of Company's bitcoin mining operation. This position works as an integral part of a larger team who provides 24/7 coverage and support for the mining operations and assists the engineering and facilities teams in their efforts.They are hiring varied shifts, full-time and part-time. Recent graduates and veterans are encouraged to apply. The salary for this role starts at $20.00/hour and increases to $22.00/hour after a 60-day probationary period.Responsibilities and Duties:*Assist the engineering team with mining operation tasks.*Log and scan equipment shipments - ensure accuracy in record keeping and inventory maintenance, maintain tracking spreadsheets and/or databases as well as opening and updating tracking tickets.*Assist as needed with special projects for installation or reorganization of mining equipment.*Assist with basic maintenance on miners, such as fan and power supply replacement.*Monitor mining pool data and communicate significant changes.*Identify when issues are affecting the production environment.*Escort approved visitors in and out of various locations throughout the facility to work on equipment.*Assist over the phone, this may include simple troubleshooting and equipment reboots.*Assist the facilities team with building and electrical maintenance.*Communicate HVAC or power issues. Qualifications: *Assist with trouble shooting problems as needed.*Monitor temperatures; communicate any abrupt changes in temperatures.Education: High School or GED Equivalent required.Experience: While technical experience is helpful, no prior experience is required. Company will train you on the job.Specific skills: Qualified Candidate must work without supervision and complete assigned tasks. Basic computer skills required.Personal characteristics: Pro-active, helpful, conscientious, and pride in a job well done; team player. Company employees are forward-thinking, enthusiastic, results- driven, and collaborative.Physical abilities: Qualified Candidate must lift 50-75 pounds, adapt to varying temperatures, position self/move, traverse, and remain upright and stationary for long periods of time.Other Requirements: Qualified Candidate must have reliable self-transportation.*Company pays 100% of full-time employees medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurances. Additional dependents are also eligible for a fee. Employees have the option to select additional supplemental insurance for short term disability, accident insurance, pet insurance, and legal aide. Company has a 401k plan (no match at this time) and also provides stock incentives based on performance and longevity within the company.*Employees are hired to work set shifts and a seniority-based shift bid will be conducted once they are at 90% of their workforce. Shift times are as follows (subject to change): 12:00a-8:00a, 12:30a-8:30a, 7:30a-3:30p, 8:00a-4:00p, 8:30a-4:30p, 3:30p-11:30p, 4:00p-12:00p, 4:30-12:30p.*Part-time positions are usually 20 hours or less per week, full-time is considered 30 or more hours per week, and non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in excess of 40 hours per week.Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
